As mentioned this was the third time playing this battle so was more just the need to convert OOBs already in place to suit Shako. May look into them for other games.Tony Mileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03046365128769273868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3352685824547617632.post-47235315181408882602022-11-24T11:13:54.773+00:002022-11-24T11:13:54.773+00:00Oh, this is an eye-catching setup and battle, Tony...Oh, this is an eye-catching setup and battle, Tony. Absolutely fabulous. You mentioned creating your own OBs. Are you not using the many Shako scenario books from Michael Hopper?Jonathan Freitaghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07862373894196924886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3352685824547617632.post-3197043409897572432022-11-24T11:00:03.642+00:002022-11-24T11:00:03.642+00:00Cheers, very much a group effort.Cheers, very much a group effort.Tony Mileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03046365128769273868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3352685824547617632.post-1244070729801016452022-11-24T10:59:31.764+00:002022-11-24T10:59:31.764+00:00Many thanksMany thanksTony Mileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03046365128769273868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3352685824547617632.post-63216376535579985282022-11-23T11:28:43.106+00:002022-11-23T11:28:43.106+00:00Fantastic looking game, loads of Napoleonic eye ca...Fantastic looking game, loads of Napoleonic eye candy.

Willz.Tiberian generalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12751123635695247896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3352685824547617632.post-32020946673382575972022-11-23T01:42:19.256+00:002022-11-23T01:42:19.256+00:00Pleased to see Shako being used in such grand and ...Pleased to see Shako being used in such grand and beautiful games. While the rules can support small actions I think they are best Played in large games where some of the rules like Combat Deployment and the Divisional morale rules really have an effect on the bigger narrative. In the last two years we have done Waterloo, Borodino, Leipzig and now Talavera plus other smaller actions. Apparently we have an 1814 campaign in planning for next year. We have also started using Shako for Seven Years Wars battles now too.Tony Mileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03046365128769273868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3352685824547617632.post-70288502017263925262022-11-22T19:28:04.204+00:002022-11-22T19:28:04.204+00:00Great game as usual Tony. The one time we played Talavera the French did what Victor should have done and bombarded the English lines for several hours before launching the assault., which handed the French victory in that game as well.Lawrence Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11626386564817082992noreply@blogger.com
